What kinds of projects are you excited about?

I love working on medium to large-scale tattoos with botanical, naturalistic, and scientific elements. Some of my favorite themes include:

  • Animals in various stages of decay, with mushrooms and flowers growing from them

  • Animal skulls with botanical dissection elements

  • Mythical creatures from different cultures

  • Deconstructed food dishes that hold personal or cultural significance

What types of tattoos do you NOT take on?

I don’t do small, trendy, or quick tattoos (like micro tattoos, simple script, or single butterflies). I focus on highly detailed work that takes time to create.

What kind of clients do you work with?

I love working with people who appreciate high-quality tattoos and are in it for the long haul. If you're a new client, don’t be intimidated! I strive to make the experience comfortable, enjoyable, and collaborative.

How do you approach tattooing ethics?

Your comfort and consent are my priority. I’ll check in every 20–30 minutes if you are experiencing substantial pain, and you’re always welcome to take breaks. Before touching sensitive areas (like the hip, chest, or upper leg), I’ll ask for verbal permission. You’re in a safe space! My studio is also ADA accessible.

If you need an special requests, I will try my absolute best to accommodate you!

How many sessions will my tattoo take?

Most tattoos take two sessions, spaced about a month apart to allow proper healing. If you’d like back-to-back sessions, let me know in advance!

How do I book an appointment?

  1. Submit a proposal when my books open.

  2. If accepted, I’ll send you a scheduling link.

  3. Book your sessions at least one month apart (but no more than two).

  4. Pay a $100 non-refundable scheduling fee per session (this does NOT go toward the tattoo cost).

  5. Show up and get an amazing tattoo!

What if I need to reschedule?

  • Email reschedule.with.gala@gmail.com with your full name and reason.

  • I’ll send you a new scheduling link (do NOT reschedule yourself).

  • A new scheduling fee is required for reschedules.

I totally understand that life happens—just try your best to stick to your original dates!

How much do you charge?

  • $250/hour (cash only)

  • Bring $1,400+ per session (for 5–7 hours of work + tip) you mostly likely wont be spending that much.

  • 3-hour minimum per session

How long will my tattoo take?

Most tattoos take two sessions, but larger pieces may take three or four. Sessions are usually 4–5 hours, but I can go up to 8 hours if planned in advance.

Where is your studio?

I only share my studio address with approved clients. Directions will be sent via email and text before your appointment. If you get lost, just reply to our email thread, and I’ll help!

Custom Tattoos

I only take on projects that match my style. You can submit up to three reference images.
I don’t do internet birth flower charts, but I do accept flower ideas based on personal meaning.

Flowers I love tattooing: Roses, Peonies, Cosmos, Magnolias, Hellebores, Tulips, Chrysanthemums—but I’m open to others too!

Will I see my design before my appointment?

No, but we’ll discuss your ideas beforehand, so your vision is fully understood. If you love my past work then you shouldn’t worry!

What should I wear?

Wear neutral, comfortable clothing (no bright colors or loud patterns). Comfy shoes are a must!

What placements do you love tattooing?

Chest, shoulders, forearms, shoulder blades, hips, legs, and full sleeves.

Do you tattoo scars?

Yes! I especially love covering top surgery scars and old self-harm scars.

What don’t you tattoo?

  • Ribs, necks, feet

  • Anything offensive (racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc.)

How long will my session be?

Expect to be at the studio for 4–6 hours, including stenciling, tattooing, and a short photoshoot. Tattoos take time, so don’t rush—enjoy the experience!

Are your inks vegan?

Yes! I use vegan, cruelty-free inks and products.

When should I arrive?

All appointments start at 1 PM—please do not arrive early. If you need a different time, let me know in your booking form.

Can I bring a guest?

No, please come alone to your appointment.

How should I prepare?

  • Eat a full meal before your session.

  • Stay hydrated.

  • Bring snacks and headphones if you'd like.

  • Bring headphones, a pillow or a blanket if you like. Just make sure those items are cleaned before hand.

  • I want you to be as comfortable as possible.

It’s normal to feel a little nervous, the pain is temporary.

How do I take care of my tattoo afterward?

I’ll go over aftercare instructions at the end of your session. You can also check my Aftercare page anytime.

How much should I tip?

Tipping 10–20% is standard, but tip what you can. I spend 6–12 hours designing each piece before we even start tattooing.
